Captain Joe Root along with Daniel Lawrence tried to build up the innings but their plan was cut short by Kemar Roach in the 9th over of the match. Roach got his 2nd in form of Joe Root For just 13(14) runs. In form All rounder Jason Holder joins the party by getting out Lawrence 20(38). Before going to lunch Jonny Bairstow(5*) and Ben Stokes(5*) are looking to build up a good partnership. England were 57-4 in 24 overs in the first session of day 1.
